Tuina Chinese Massage

Cosmetic Acupuncture Facials

Dr. Andre is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, Qi Gong teacher, and holistic wellness consultant with over 20 years of clinical experience. Known for his hands-on, results-driven approach, he primarily focuses on in the integration of Tuina Chinese medical massage and acupuncture for the treatment of musculo-skeletal as well as other conditions.

His work places a strong emphasis on deep tissue techniques, traditional Chinese manual therapy, stretching, and traction to help restore proper alignment within the body. Over two decades in practice, Dr. Andre has refined a treatment style that focuses not only on relieving pain, but on addressing the root causes of dysfunction. By realigning the body and improving the circulation of blood and qi, his treatments aim to support the body’s natural healing processes—often benefiting a wide range of conditions beyond spinal and muscular issues.

Dr. Andre’s passion for healing began early in life, growing up in North Carolina in a family of healthcare practitioners. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001, before working in pharmaceutical research. This experience led him to pursue a more direct and holistic path to healthcare, guided by his personal philosophy: “to live my life in a way that can teach others as well.”

In 2006, he completed his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon—consistently recognised as one of the leading TCM institutions in the United States. He further deepened his clinical expertise through an internship at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, one of the most respected centres for Chinese medicine in the world.

Throughout his career, Dr. Andre has practiced across the United States, China, Thailand, India, and now Melbourne, Australia. His treatments draw from a diverse range of modalities, including Chinese and Taiwanese styles of acupuncture, Spirit of the Points acupuncture, Tuina Chinese medical massage, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, and therapeutic exercise.

Dr. Andre is board certified with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Federation of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Associations of Australia. He is committed to delivering personalised, effective care that empowers patients to restore balance, improve function, and achieve long-term health.
