Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner or Remedial Massage Therapist Position Available
The Oriental Sage is looking for a self-motivated and business-minded Acupuncturist or Remedial Massage Therapist to work part-time in our growing, peaceful yet upbeat clinic in leafy Camberwell 3124. Amongst the busy cafe, pizza and Italian restaurant next door, and two parks and three schools within walking distance, we are a little haven for our community.
Our clinic uses acupuncture, Tuina massage, and Chinese herbal medicine in the form of granules, pills, and some raw herbs as well. We also prepare in-house many of our products for treatments such as massage oils, liniments, salves, serums, lip balms, and compresses.
The ideal candidate will have either recently graduated or have at least 1 year experience with a strong interest in treating pain conditions using acupuncture and Tuina as well.
There is a possibility of mentorship from Dr Andre Tse, who has been practicing, teaching and specializing in treating musculo-skeletal pain conditions using a combination of Tuina massage and various forms of Acupuncture (ie. Tung, Tan, 5 element, and TCM) for nearly 20 years.

Observation Role
This is an unpaid role, perfect for students needing observation hours and who are interested in treating mostly musculoskeletal injuries using Tuina Chinese massage and acupuncture.
The position includes herbal dispensing (granules only at the moment), making tinctures, massage oils, and balms, and light reception duties. You will be able to observe consultations and treatments, discuss treatment techniques, and patient cases.
